Job Description:
Mechanical Engineer
Location- Omaha Nebraska
Join a leading Engineering and Automation company that is seeking qualified Mechanical Engineers to join their team. Applicants must have experience in the one or more of the following areas: biomass, biodiesel, ethanol, food or pet food processing, or other heavy industrial areas to be considered. Relocation assistance is available
Successful Candidate will:
Specify mechanical equipment for commercial and institutional projects.
Design equipment and piping layouts.
Deliver quality construction documentation – specifications, equipment layouts, HVAC design, plumbing design, and piping design.
Specify process equipment including pressure vessels, atmospheric tanks, pumps, and heat exchangers.
Project development.
Interface with clients, vendors, construction administrators, and project team.
Report preparation and presentation to clients.
Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Processing Engineering from an accredited college.
5-10 years experience in mechanical design of industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.
Professional Engineering Licensure or desire to obtain.
AutoCAD skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and in-house support staff.
Experience with MS Windows based operation systems and applications.
Knowledge of building codes.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
