We are looking for an industrial project manager familiar with the Hampton Roads area industrial plants to include paper mills, manufacturing facilities, power houses, and refineries. You must be familiar with process piping, alloy piping and steam piping systems.

Requirements Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years experience in mechanical contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or 5+ year’s equivalent as an estimating manager/chief estimator in mechanical contracting.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing people in a team environment. Experience with a union workforce is helpful but not necessary.
• Demonstrated abilities to manage multiple projects/initiatives and to meet imposed deadlines.
• Must be construction document and drawing literate with knowledge of all phases of industrial construction.
• Demonstrated skills with estimating and bidding software, tools and methodologies.
• Use of industrial instrumentation and P & ID take-off and estimating a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Superior skills in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Timberline desirable.
• Demonstrated skills and problem solving abilities in bid deadline situations.
