Product Brand Manager

Manage the day-to-day requirements for brand base business that includes development and implementation of annual plans (business review, strategic plan, marketing plan, media plan, and promotion plan), identifying and resolving any product quality and inventory concerns, and tracking and defending against competitive entries/initiatives.

Location- Farmingdale, NY

Major Accountabilities:
Responsible for assisting in the management of the brand. Responsibilities will include the tracking and development of brand performance and competitive environment. Manage consumer and or healthcare advertising, lead launch initiatives, involvement in brand strategy development and equity building.

• Managing the manufacturing and consumption forecast
• Track P&L budget items
• Trade interaction
• Analytical skills to include: forecasting, financial, data analysis
• Developing new product concepts and launch if applicable
• Developing package graphics labeling coordination of packaging/execution
• Market research coordination
• Developing and implementing all consumer promotions
• Development and presentation of annual marketing plans
• Prepare selling materials
Requirements
Minimum requirements • Bachelors degree; MBA preferred
• 1-3 years total brand experience, OTC Experience, and Consumer Package Goods experience.
• Experience in working with and managing agencies, media planning, developing future brand plans, managing budgets, conducting business and market place analysis and developing creative briefs.
• Demonstrative strategic and creative problem solving skills, strong analytical skills, leadership skills particularly of cross-functional teams, oral and written skills and proactive self-starter.
• Broad understanding of brand management principles
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with emphasis on ability to influence others in all functions and at all levels in the organization.
• Well-developed oral, written, and analytical skills
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes
