IMAGERY SCIENTIST

Experience

Experienced Imagery Scientist wanted to work as a member of a small team supporting a government client. The successful candidate will have a broad range of experience in imagery processing and analysis and experience in appropriate software tools to meet a variety of emerging customer requirements.

Requirements

·        MUST have a current SSBI

·        MS or PhD in image science, remote sensing, the earth sciences, physical sciences, or a related scientific field from an accredited institution and a minimum of six years of experience

·        Demonstrated Proficiency and at least three years of experience with imagery processing, and analysis of Multispectral (MSI), Hyperspectral (HIS) and Synthetic Apeture Radar (SAR) Imagery

·        Experience in using spectral data from a variety of imaging systems

·        Demonstrated experience using COTS image software including ENVI, Remote View and COTS desktop software suites in a Windows operating environment

·        Ability to investigate and implement image processing algorithms in support of customer requirements

Experience programming ENVI/IDL and use of Spatial modeling tools
