Overview:

This position will be in the Worldwide Exploration- Planning organization. This organization was created in October 2008 to provide budget, portfolio, communication, and strategic planning support to the Worldwide Exploration (WWE) organization. This specific position will gain exposure to the WWE Senior Vice President & direct reports and the Upstream Planning organization and will report to the WWE Planning Manager.

Responsibilities:

1) Primary person responsible within WWE for Hyperion data input, extraction, and reporting.
2) Responsible for tracking capital for dynamic onshore US exploration programs including three new resource plays.
3) Present above analysis to WWE Sr. Management.
4) Assist in the business modeling of onshore US exploration programs.
5) Effectively interact with Upstream Planning organization, WWE Budget Coordinator, F&A support, and practicing reservoir engineers.

Qualifications:

Degree: Bachelors preferred.
Major Discipline: Finance, Business, or related degree.
Years Experience Required: 3-5 years experience in planning and financial analysis preferred.
Computer Knowledge: Strong knowledge in Hyperion and/or ARIES preferred.
