Join a leading global designer and supplier of low cost, high quality metal-based components, assemblies and modules for the automotive industry. The company currently has an excellent opportunity for an Electrical (Controls) Engineer available


THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION.

The Electrical (Controls) Engineer is responsible for research, design, development,
testing and installation of electrical apparatus, components, equipment and machinery. Designs, constructs and operates systems, machinery and equipment used for generation, transmission and distribution of energy consumption.


Works to obtain optimum utilization of equipment, machinery and resources. Works closely with engineering disciplines in the development and application of robotics to increase production quality, efficiency or volume. Also responsible for providing supervision and direction to the hourly maintenance technicians on the off shift.


Requirements
Successful candidates will have five or more years of experience in electrical/controls engineering. Allen-Bradley PLC/SLC and Panelview expertise is a must. Experience with Fanuc Controls is also desired. Candidates with Yamaha / NSK servo drives and GSE torque gun controls are preferred.
