Description:

The Software Engineering position is responsible for a variety of engineering assignments. Challenging assignments include Embedded real-time software development & verification and analysis of requirements, design, development, test and documentation of software applications.   Employee understands and applies engineering concepts and follows established policies and procedures to complete work assignments.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• 4 year bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• C/C++
• Ada
• Perl Python
• Windows Programming
• Data Structures
• Experience related to the software engineering industry
• Embedded Real-time software development and verification
• Perform analysis of requirements, design, development, test and documentation of software applications
• Experience in avionics with DO-178B, MIL-STD 498 or applicable industry standards
• Has knowledge of the ISO/SEI CMMI processes and procedures
• Participates in process improvement
• Strives to continually improve quality and quantity of work

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Provide customer support and assistance.
• Support various amounts of overtime depending on project needs.
• Travel as needed.
